Ronald McDonald House Glasgow is a small independent Scottish charity (SC023199) that provides a 'home away from home' for families who have sick children in hospital. The House has all the facilities you have at home, somewhere to cook your food, wash your clothes, watch TV and comfortable bedrooms to rest in, yet we're just a few minutes walk from the hospital. Families come from all over Scotland and beyond, they find themselves far away from home & support. We take away some of the stress and financial burden, by providing these families with a 'home away from home' free of charge.
The charity does not receive funding from the government and has to rely on generous donations from individuals, groups and companies to keep the doors open.
